Upgrade your work (or gaming) space with these great deals
Dell is a powerhouse when it comes to business systems. You’d be hard-pressed to find a company that doesn’t have one or two Dell machines in a boardroom, conference center or server room. But the company also has a strong lineup of consumer gadgets, like laptops and gaming desktop computers.
So, when Dell has some great savings on gadgets, monitors and headphones, like the Bose QuietComfort 45, it’s a good time to grab some tech. The deals aren’t tied to any special occasion or event, so there is no telling how long these particular products will enjoy the discounts.

Dell is more than meets the eye
Dell Technologies was founded by Michael Dell while he was a student at the University of Texas at Austin. However, that wasn’t the company’s first name. The business machines giant started out in 1984 as PC’s Limited, and it wasn’t until 1988 that it rebranded to Dell Computer Corporation.
Throughout its four decades of operation, Dell Technologies has acquired several companies and brands that strengthen its focus on corporate clients. For example, the cloud infrastructure company VMware is majority-owned by Dell, and in 2016, Dell acquired the enterprise-level data storage, cloud solutions, and data protection company EMC.
But it also owns a few brands that you might not associate with it. The most notable of these is Alienware, and if you aren’t a gamer, you’d be excused for thinking it’s some alien technology company that provides implants to humans.
That’s not by accident, either. Founders Nelson Gonzalez and Alex Aguila had a fondness for the hit TV series “The X-Files” and settled on the alien-inspired name and product lineup in 1996. The brand quickly became known for its innovative and chic designs, often featuring colorful and futuristic aesthetics and lighting effects that became a signature style.
Dell acquired Alienware in 2006 but kept it as a wholly owned subsidiary so that it could maintain its focus on out-of-this-world products, flashy lighting and powerful systems.
Best deals on Dell gadgets
If you are in the market for a compact laptop to accompany you on business meetings while playing video games on the side, the XPS 15 is an excellent choice. In addition to the 15.6-inch Full HD display, it has a 13th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, 32 gigabytes of random access memory, 1 terabyte storage space and a Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card. It’s the perfect combination of work and pleasure.
Being bogged down to a desk isn’t some people’s idea of fun. Gaming, wherever you are, has never been easier with the powerful Alienware m18 laptop. It is packed with all the internal components to rival a desktop computer, such as an Intel Core i9 processor, a Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card, 4TB of storage and an astonishing 64GB of RAM. And that is in addition to the 18-inch QHD display.
It’s important to have a durable laptop if you rely on it for working on the road. A great option is Dell’s Latitude line, with the 5540 being a solid choice. It comes with an Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage and a 15.6-inch display. It’s powerful enough to run resource-intensive apps, such as video editing and creative software.
Dell Inspiron Desktop Computer
Dell’s Inspiron range is geared toward more business functions than gaming. That is why this model doesn’t come with a gaming graphics card, but an Intel UHD Graphics 770 card instead. It also has 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage and is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor. This is only the PC with the components inserted, so you must buy a monitor and keyboard separately.
Unlike the Inspiron desktop computer, this gadget has everything you need built into the case. Behind the 23.8-inch Full HD display hides an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor, an AMD Radeon Graphics card, 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The all-in-one also comes with a Dell Pro Wireless Keyboard and Mouse combo, so you can get to work as soon as you log in.
If you are looking for a gaming computer without all the blinking lights and multicolored fans, the Dell XPS desktop computer is right up your alley. Housed in the neat gray case is a 13th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, a Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card and 32GB of RAM. That’s more than powerful enough to play the latest video games, and the 1TB of storage is ample.
Depending on the nature of your work, you don’t always need the biggest or best monitor on your desk. In most cases, you’ll only need something that won’t make you squint when looking at spreadsheets, such as this 23.8-inch Full HD monitor. It has one HDMI port that easily connects to a laptop or desktop and four USB 3.2 ports.
Dell 32 Curved Gaming Monitor (S3222DGM)
Unlike business monitors, you need all the bells and whistles of a gaming monitor if it will give you a competitive edge. With this 32-inch LED curved monitor, you will definitely have an advantage as it has a refresh rate of 165Hz, is compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium, has dedicated vents for enhanced heat dispersal, and has plenty of connectivity ports.
Alienware Aurora R15 Gaming Desktop
You’d be mistaken to look at this gadget and write it off as a gimmick. It probably doesn’t resemble what you know as a desktop computer, but make no mistake, it’s incredibly powerful. This gaming desktop comes with an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X processor with Alienware Cryo-tech Edition liquid cooling technology, AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card, 1TB of storage and 32GB of RAM.
Bose QuietComfort 45 Headphones
A great pair of headphones can make the world’s difference when listening to music, watching movies or playing video games. The wireless QuietComfort 45 headphones are an upgrade over the original model and feature proprietary acoustic noise-canceling technology and volume-optimized active EQ. The battery lasts about 24 hours, and the earcups are fully padded.
